Winning the first match doesn't mean anything to me. In AFCON 98,we beat a tough Tunisian side(that had qualified for the world cup)but lost to weaker teams like Togo and Congo DR. last year the black satellites lost their first two matches, but finished third in the tournament. Spain lost their opening match in 2010 world cup to Switzerland but eventually won the cup. I know we will beat US, but the remaining matches will be difficult.

Haaa Alhaji Mulor, don't be too optimistic of beating the U.S.A. third 'taam' regardless. Our day to day vocal expressions indicated that, most of Ghanaians, including the GFA gurus don't feels the threat of the U.S.A. So we don't give a damn even to camp and play one friendly there as well. But remember, we did struggled hard to beat them twice. Camping and playing one friendly there is going to give the U.S.A. much ample time and apparatus to study our game plans and our strategies to use it against us.

To be honest, I really feels pessimistic about our third encounter against U.S.A (IF) we camp there.

In AFCON1998,we beat a tough Tunisian team that had qualified for the 1998 world cup,but lost to Togo and Congo DR. Spain lost their first match against Switzerland but the won the world cup in 2010.In AFCON 1990,Nigeria lost to Algeria but won the remaining matches and went to the finals.

USA preparations has been extremely intense. In particilar they have have spent 12 days practising in Brazil to get the feel of the battlefield conditions. Klinsmann is totally in command of the team like a great general will do. In Brazil he recorded all the data on player fatigue, durability, heart rate , osmo-regulation, during a 90 minute battle.
