This is a damning indictment of the state of affairs in football management in Ghana. Malik should please help Ghanaians by revealing the names of these 5 players and which clubs they ply their trade. He should not be too diplomatic. He must also reveal the name of the person who sent the message. This is corruption at the highest level and if nothing is done such malpractice will continue to the detriment of Ghana football

Some of us do believe that one of the conditions for employment as a national team coach in Ghana is to keep quiet and accept players to be imposed on you. This has been going on for some time but because the coaches want the job they keep quiet. It is only Malik who has come out on the issue because of the love for his country and the desire to do what is right. Sometimes some of us do wonder the caliber of players that are selected into the national teams whilst those who merit the selection are left behind. Yes, it a fact now-accept the imposition of players for being picked as a coach of national team.

I REMEMBER BEING TOLD YEARS AGO WHEN THE NATIONAL VOLLEY TEAM WAS BEING READIED FOR AN OVERSEAS TRIP. PLAYERS FROM NORTHERN GHANA WERE TO GO HOME AND PREPARE AND COME BACK. WHEN THEY GOT BACK, PEOPLE WHO WERE EVEN NOT VOLLEY PLAYERS WERE PUT IN THEIR PLACE AND THEY HAD LEFT. THE SAME THING HAPPENED A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN GHANA WAS SHAMED WHEN NON-DISABLED PEOPLE WERE PUT IN PLACE OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY FOR A TRIP TO AUSTRALIA. DON'T BE SURPRISED IF MR MALIK JABIR HIMSELF GETS SIDELINED BECAUSE HE HAS COME OUT WITH THIS STATEMENT.

These are some of the people who have Ghana at heart. Bravo to Malik. How come that some players whom the coach himself does not know being forced into the team. At the end when the team fails it is the coach who will be blamed. This really exposes corruption at the GFA that people have bee saying all the time. I believe this corruption spans through all the various Ghana teams.
Shame unto those GFA personnel doing that. We want their names published.

These are the kinds of characters who are ruining this country;and trust me that inspite of Kwasi Appiah`sstatement to the contrary,Nyantakyi is always lurking behind the scenes[the unseen hand]meddling in the day-to-day runnung of the GFA for his personal gain. And as to why our politicians, of all stripes, have allowed him to get away with this,is beyond me!
After just a week and a half of furore and grumbling,everybody has given up on insisting that the details of our official budget for the 2014 Brazil WC tournament be made public for all to see! Come the close of July,when all the huge sums of money have already been squandered,then the 'chorus' will start all over again,but to little avail. This country is truly 'jinxed'!
