Why don't you put this debate (allegations) to rest by publishing the 2014 WC budget? It cannot be harder than that. While you're at it, you could also do us a big favor by leveling with us as to why you kept reporting US$11 million as the prize money for the 2010 WC, instead of the FIFA documented US$14 million?

You could as well let us know why you returned only US$2 million to the government for the 2010 world cup, instead of the entire US$14 million prize money; you were given US$20 million by the government for the WC preparations. You should be glad you do not have true investigative journalism in Ghana. You know very well that you are getting away with "murder". It is easy to do that in Ghana. Herbert Mensah did that with Kotoko; he sought, and was given, immunity from prosecution for embezzlement. Everybody does it in Ghana. All you have to do to get away with corruption and criminality is to pull a "me no speak no English" ploy. It is too easy.

Kwesi Nyantakyi put all these nonsense to rest by publishing the detail current World Cup budget. People would sleep well if a detail and reconcile budget of the 2006 and 2010 world cup are publish.

Talk about Kwesi Nyantakyi's lack of transparency and people want you to back off because under his presidency we have being to three world cup back to back which for me is foolish with 5 slot allocated to Africa and more is coming every fool can get us to world cup Ghana is if you like it or not a soccer powerhouse.

Kwesi Nyantakyi said this right after Germany 06 when people called for accountability "I am not accountable to anyone" and this set the course he finds himself in now. Kwesi Nyantakyi has done well but he should be open and run an open book policy as long as he and the people around him want to run a mafia type of administration he would never "see" peace.

If you scroll back to July 30, 2010 of this Ghanaweb sports column, you'll find out that right after the world cup the minister for sports gave the breakdowns of how the money allocated was spent. Some Ghanaians waited till 2014 only to start questioning how this money was spent, concocting stories for publication etc etc. I feel it's very frustrating for a leader in such society. I feel Nyantakyi's pain so much. I guess we have to give them time to present this budget details. After all we're in April. It'll rather be suicidal when they're about to start camping and we don't know what's going into what but for now I guess we need to mellow a bit for them.

One time they said players were asking for $100K appearance fee Gyan come out and denial it put all this to rest by publishing it. The last time Kwesi Nyantakyi put in the budget money for journalist which journalists said they have not asked for it. There is always a dreamer about world cup budget why?? as a school boy in the 80s i saw an old journalist oheneba charles bashed the then soft spoken elias teye gfa at the least opportunity as if elias teye has taken the journalist's wife. some few years down the line, ohene charles found himself into the gfa executive committee.
i can also recall randy abbey and ibrahim sanni darrah would just not allow the gfa executive committee comprising jones abu allhassan have a sleep. i remember vividly how randly childishly misnterpreted an account opeing at the CAF secretariat and went on air alleging possible fraud. very few years down the line, randy have walked through the GFA executive committee.
Again one cannot forget how Mr BIG Joe aggrey rode on the back of ET Mensah into the seat of a sports minister as reward from Mr Agyekum Kuffour.
If you dont bash the head you wont get there.
