OUR SO CALLED TIKI TAKA, BREAK, CONTROL AND PASS BRAND OF SOCER HAS BEEN DILUTED BY THE LIKES OF COACH AA. HIS ALUGUNTUGUI, TUTULAPATU STYLE OF COACHING HAS MESSED UP OUR UNIQUE STYLE OF PLAY. OUR ONLY PROBLEM BACK THEN WAS DESIGNING PLAYS TO ATTACK AND SCORE, WHICH WE LACKED. AT THE 2006 WCUP, GH OUTPLAYED EVEN BRASIL, BUT WE WERE WOEFUL IN THE FINAL 3RD. LONG SHOTS WAS OUR DOWNFALL. WE COULDNT USE THE FLANKS OR THE MIDDLE TO GET THE BALL INTO THE 18 AND SHOOT ON GOAL OR GET PENALTIES. IF COACH AA CAN GO BACK TO OUR 2006 STYLE OF PLAY AND INVENT WAYS OF GETTING THE BALL INTO THE 18, GH WILL GO VERY FAR IN BRASIL.

  correct faulty passing, poor ball control, selfish play, hanging on the ball, slow movement, & poor marking then a system of play will evolve consequently. These are the bane of our football.

  What has coach oti akenteng & sam arday achieved & the senior level? Lets take a sober look at performance of our senior coaches and you will realised that apart from CK, osam, sir cecil, ibrahim sunday, herbert addo, & malik jabir, the likes of ben kwofie, oti, arday, afranie although talk a lot do not have anything to show at the senior level be it national team or club. whatever some of them achieved were due to the fact that they took over aged players to under aged competition to achieve some laurelS. apart from that their ages have created the impression they are aces

  stop the recent over reliance on long range shots to score goals. lets go back to scoring goals from possession and slow build up play to confound opponents and score more easy goals.
