  This is USA's plan against Ghana. I hope Appiah's looks at what I am writing. 1. The US coach believes in overwhelming the Ghanaian defense wduring spot kicks or with any chance they get to be near the 18. we can not losely mark in the 18 anymore. We have to adopt close marking when they are in our 18. FITNESS FOR THE TEAM... The old experienced players should be timed doing 7-8 miles nonstop to build stamina and excess energy to be able to play. Playing modern soccer is 70% fitness and 30% skills. The player covers 6 miles in running in 90 minutes so if the old players don't have the stamina they will be winging it and pretending it was not their fault they lost the ball. To beat USA we shouldn't give them the chance to dominate the midfield. Our counters should be swift and unpredictable, Asamoah Gyan should play a roving ambassador position. We will beat USA if we attack aggressively. Lets avoid expecting sympathy from the referees. They may tacitly want to see USA beat Ghana so lets beat them cleanly. controversy.
