  We hear about transfers all the time, and nothing comes out of it. Furthermore, I seriously wonder if anyone wants Essien, as he has slowed down considerably. Interesting times!

  lets call a spade a spade, after two major knee surgeries I dont think he will be the same person. He has got dogy knees that's why he is not getting regular games. If he was that good as the old times, chelsea wouldnt have allowed him to go.
  Ghana shouldnt risk him at the world cup.
  More over he is in my mind older than 31 years.
  A. Appiah should drop Essien, we shouldnt take any risks.

  Please dont risk him. the world cup is not grounds for experiments and recupperation, we need able, fit young and fast legs and bodies.
