I have watched other African countries friendlies (Cote de Ivoire, Cameroon,Algeria, Nigeria and even Senegal who are not participants) and it seems Ghana is far behind.

A concerned citizen, your quote is perfectly right. Accam should have been given the opportunity to justify his inclusion. By denying Accam, AA gives his critics the fuel to be suspicious and to come up with their own speculative conclusions.
As a nation our culture forbids us to criticize elders but to respect authority. Fine! Not in this case of national responsibility, honor, and representation. It is understandable that AA wants to keep as many players he used in the qualification matches, including players who played in the most recent AFCON. Presumably the aforementioned players are loyal and responsive to AA's plans....only the fit and active 'untouchables' like Essien, Muntari, KPG, K. Asamoah, Dede, Badu, Gyan will have the privilege of reserved inclusion. So based on our poor traditions of seniority bias, players like ACCAM are considered as 'party poopers', 'gatecrashers' or fringe intruders who have to pay their dues.
This cultural philosophy of drowning talented 'upstarts' can cost a nation. However it is difficult to measure what the denied could have done, because playing in a league in Sweden does not equate playing in a world cup. Nevertheless those of us who are curious have seen Adomah and Accam play and there is evidence that the latter has more flair, options, and prolific at goals than the former along the flanks. Both players have pace and that is where the similarity ends. Adomah has height, strength and presence, whiles the diminutive Accam has deftness and an eye for more goals.
These are the questions that come to mind. Are we going to perform badly on the right flank like we did in 2010 with Prince Tagoe? Prince did his best, but boy the WC is a different beast! Against the Dutch, Adomah had fewer options: poor dribbling skills, poor passes/crosses, always trying to run the ball parallel to the sideline....what about diagonal to the sideline or 90 degrees to the sideline etc etc
If AA told Adomah before the game against the Dutch to underplay himself for tactical reasons, (I doubt) then AA is smart indeed, if not then Adomah is just a pedestrian add-on. Adomah should have been Schlupped as much. Sorry folks!!! Its too late now, however now that Adomah is in....I pray that his contribution be the best for victory!!!
