Wow! What a great touch by AA to allow the boys to choose their own numbers..... AA is showing that he is really a great coach with brilliant ideas on how to motivate the boys. Gyan - a striker wearing #3 jersey will be happy because he has got what he considers his lucky number.
Andre will feel he has to play his best to justify the #10, the same number his dad used to wear.
Jordan will feel #13 allowed his brother to play well last time, so it will also help him play well.
KPB will feel he needs to score more goals to justify the number 9.

They also did great to give the #1 to Stephen Adams to motivate him whilst Kwarasey took 12.
Simple psychological boost to the whole team. AA wu y3 GREAT!!!!

No...it doesn't work like that. Jersey numbers don't score goals-it is the players who score the goals. The fact that those 2 players scored goals in a jersey with that number doesn't mean any player who wears a jersey with that number will score goals. It's a mere coincidence. In fact, it's possible that Harrison Afful can score a goal or two. If it happens, we shall be happy but we still can't conclude that it's the "number 23 jersey" that scored the goal(s). Every player on the field, including the goalkeepers, can score a goal if it becomes possible.

Stephen Adams was good at the last U-20 world cup although I would wish Kwarasey kept the posts. The whole team is ok except the defence which is a bit doubtful. The strikers A Gyan, KPB, Atsu, are quite ok.
