  This amount could build bridges over water bodies and streams which overflown its boundaries and prevented our poor farmers from going to their farms especially during this rainy season. The BS as team have been given enough money by the gov't and GNPC and all these donations will not be accounted for by the FA but rather enrich the pockets of the GFA mafia led by Kwesi Nyantekyi. It is your money but donated to the wrong quarters. May be the foundation want to heard and football of course is the platform to get that recognition otherwise there are more pressing needs in our villages that would go a long way to touch the souls of very poor people who really need help

Yes the Foundation is doing a lot for underprivileged people but this one is adding up to people who already have whiles there yet more people and communities who need help, some as low as 25% of this amount

Adusei and his EO-Group stepped in and boom, Ghana found oil, and its exporation happened. And now you are vilifying such a patriot citizen like Dr. Edusei when Tsatsu Tsikata and his cabal who wasted millionsof dollars in their imaginary and failed oil exploration are walking freely??.....Lets be grateful to Edusei and Owusu for their continuos patriotics gesture. Ghana now is an oil producing country thanks to the EO group. It is a same that our leaders are wasted this additional revenue to the plight of the people. That is the main problem if you ask me. Check out the movie "Big Men". It gives a full account of how the deal was put together.

  While it is always commendable that a Philantropist gives donations to good causes as Dr. Barwuah-Edusei has begun doing, I would rather have them invest in more in the private Sector to expand our Economy.
  
  I am glad that the Doctor has stepped forward to show his philantropy. Now, he is showing some wider justification in the creation of the EO-Group that partnered Kosmos to harness our Jubilee Oil Reserves and earned the Group a cool $350 Million plus in a matter of couple of years.
  
  I am one of those who were worried as to what he, Dr. Barwuah-Adusei, and George Owusu, his partner in the EO-Group, have been doing with their windfall to help move our Economy forward. So, I would offer my commendation to Dr. Barwuah-Edusei for these first helpful gestures.
  
  However, I would strongly encourage him to invest more in the Private Sector in Ghana to help create more employment for our Youths. That would quickly erase any concerns that many of us had that his EO-Group was a shady, crony capitalist venture created overnight by the ex-President Kufuor from behind the curtains to make a kill out of the Oil find in the country.
  
  So long as the EO-Group, or any such Economic entity in Ghana, actively and profitably invest to expand our Economy and create employment to facilitate wealth creation by other ordinary folks, I, for one, would accept them for however they came into being.
  
  Ghana needs vibrant, knowledgeable Citizens who are enterprising and daring enough to risk their resources and knowledge to invest more, or wisely use our Natural Resources to benefit themselves and the larger Population, too.
  
  The rewards for participating in a Capitalist endeavor is making profit, and gaining wealth. And every private Citizen must have the opportunity to join the bandwagon in making the best out of their talents and investments. If our Natural Resources can be accessed by any Citizen who would use it to gain wealth and in the process significantly grow the Economy and help the general Population pull out poverty, we must support that individual. After all not all of us have what it takes to turn flour into dough, cotton into textiles, gold into jewelry. There are some who, even if we gave them a $Million for a capital, would not know what to do with it and just waste it on exhaustive luxury. The Multiplier effect is then lost from such a waste.
  
  What I hate is crony capitalism that narrowly directs our State Assets and Resources to only a few in privileged positions only to have them transfer all the Wealth into some safe havens abroad, like in Switzerland and Barbados, to enjoy with only their families.
  
  The Nation then gets nothing in return for such dubious 'State' largese to such persons, and end up being a big loser.
  
  Therefore, Dr. Barwuah-Edusei and Mr. George Owusu in the EO-Group, must not quietly hide in cozy abodes abroad, but openly and boldly participate more in our Economy for Ghanaians to know their wealth was acquired to be put into further use to help Ghana in general.
  
  Staying away quietly from the limelight whilst their wealth does nothing to expand our Economy would not shove the controversial story of the EO-Group into oblivion. It would rather keep the vicious suspicion many of us had about the Group always alive in the background, festering until some issue erupts to get the story splashed all over again. But if the partners more actively put their wealth to work in creating more Businesses and employing more Youths, we can find greater justification for the advent of such a Group, no matter how it came into being. This gesture of philantropy must not be some one-time face-saving event. Ghana needs fast expanding local vibrant, inspiring Entrepreneurs, not just philantropists.
  
  Other members of our Society, fellow Citizens, who might have had similar opportunities could then learn from the benefits of the existence of the EO-Group.
  
  Long Live Ghana!!!

When Edusei voluntered a great part of his time visiting the sick in the Northern part of the country in 90's as a Medical Doctor, I guess Yaw Baah, was busy trying to figure out how he could destroy others.
