When our midfielders get the ball at center circle, the only thing that comes to their mind is send it straight back to the defenders, then back to the goalkeeper then the goalkeeper kicks it anywhere (usually back to the opponents). Which kind of football is this? I watched all 3 Ghana friendlies and that's the same style. No midfield display, all try-your-luck style. This won't work in the world cup. I'm sorry but that's the truth.

Ghana will draw Germany and beat Portugal but with God and destiny on our side, we will top the group,with 9 points. If that happens, the final is ours and yet again, destiny will precede any other. We need to beat USA by 4-0 to stand a chance of qualifying; 1-0, 2-0, 3-0 scoreline all not good as we R in a tricky group. Good luck Black Stars, God bless our homeland Ghana and God bless us all.

Without sounding complacent, we are looking well beyond the USA game, our concern is how to deal with the Germans and the Portuguese. Haven watched all the countries in Group G preparation towards the World Cup I can now draw conclusions to the challenges Ghana face in the group. Whiles I wish to see Ghana proceed to the round of 16, I'm a realist and would not fool myself with the illusion of thinking that Ghana are good enough to beat both Germany and Portugal. I'm even doubtful that Ghana can beat USA this time around and it's not because of the lack of good players we have but style of play and the formation the Ghana Black Stars have adopted under the coach.

Ghana is well known for our strong midfield but it seems our midfield lacks creativity in the style Ghana is playing with K. ASAMOAH being opted to the left back position. No one to make penetrating passes for our strikers to have a chance of scoring. Furthermore, there is no steadiness in our midfield which will put pressure on our weak defense. Without Essien in midfield we will look weak against Portugal and Germany. I saw Ireland have a beat down by Portugal 5-1 yesterday and I must say that it was very impressive. I smell an early exit for the Ghana Black Stars and the coach being fired after that.
