  Their threat is mainly from aerial balls and set pieces. What the Black Stars have to do is to believe in themselves. The technical team too has to believe in their strategy. Especially they way they were able to teach the boys to counter the attacks of the Dutch in the second half in the friendly in Rotterdam. They have to believe in themselves because I believe with the right mentality they can cope with anything any team throws at them. What they must avoid is COMPLACENCY; OVER-ELABORATION and SELFISHNESS.

What matters here are your stamina, covering for one another when something goes wrong-(team work), fearlessness, cohesiveness and optimism. You have done it before and can do it again. Muntari, please repeat the goal you scored for Ghana when you first featured against the USA. That goal was magnificent, you showed your hunger for goals to the whole world and that open goal inspired your team mates and all of you should avoid complacency.   USA plays like most western Europe teams. Attack,.attack,.attack. They don't know how to play counter attack. Look at how holland played spain. They sat back, played the counter. Since euro teams can't play counter, they shot themselves in the foot with the penalty. After that, they opened up the game slowly. Countered and got the equalizer thru blind and van persist. We should start off with the 4321, 433, then 442...as the game progresses. Usa play similar attacking style like germany, holland. They don't know how to.Counter. The minute they begin to play defend,counter. They are dead. Gh4.Usa0.......

  I just need to make a point with regards to those that were criticizing the Black Stars after our friendly with Holland. This is a team we lost to by a single goal. They have just thrashed the World Champions ranked no 1 by FIFA 5-1. Does this not put our performance against them into proper perspective? I think we played excellently against Holland especially as we did not feature our first 11. This should raise the morale of the BS out of this world and galvanize our belief that we are going to prevail against Germany and Portugal. Cannot wait for Monday.
