Andre after all was the guy who got us the goal, and to say Andre has no business starting our next game just shows how "bloviatingly" IGNORANT this idiot can be. He had better ask his boss Nana Akufo Addo who knows much about soccer, because I can recall he used to play soccer in Legon with the late Prof Mills.

I am not at all surprised about Appiah's actions, because I know for sure that Appiah will fail us. That is why I have been shouting from roof tops to get him a technical director.I had earlier on informed my friend (POW) that, Appiah will continue with his "trial and error" method of couching to the world cup. That is exactly what he is doing.

When we equalized they were uncomfortable so they gave another goal immediately. Thenfter they were comfortable again and played out their hearts till the match eneded. May be if we had scored again they would have immediately given away another goal. There's nothing wrong investigating. Remember Senegal 1992. Goal Keeper, Edward Ansah left the team for a moment to meet with M.K.O. Abiola. We were then preparing to meet Nigeria in the Semi-Finals. When he returned, Abedi and others were displeased and suspicious. They did not want him to keep against Nigeria. Somehow he was put in the post. What happened? Under 7 minutes the Nigerias got a corner kick. Ansah was a shadow of himself. He childishly allowed to ball to enter the net. He may have fulfilled his part of "suspicious accord with Abiola". It took the high spirits of Polley and Abedi to score 2 goals to the dismay of the Nigerians. (That very day Keshi was 30 years and Abedi only fulfilled his Birthday gift to him.)

Ansah is still around. If he has any confession he must say it. After all he is no longer playing. He must share as part part of his memoires in what happens outside the pitch. Appiah, Abedi, Yeboah etc are all around. Let them come out and speak the truth.
God bless the 'boys' who played in Liberia some years ago, who refused a bribery attempt by Oppong Weah.
Investigations must be carried out quietly to avoid a repeat of one, two or more players selling us out. We must defend our taxes used in taking care of them. Defeat is not a good thing but to crucify the persons you have employed to work for you is much worse. Anybody who understands soccer should know that it is a game that can end in win, loss or draw. It is unreasonable for us Ghanaians to think that we have the divine right to win all our matches and particularly always defeat the USA.
After their defeat by Ghana in 2006 and 2010, the US went even more than the extra mile to prepare their team just to beat Ghana. Had Ghana beaten the US again, it would have meant all the great efforts and hardwork they put into their preparations have come to nought. Ghana should even feel proud that the US in their preparations had only Ghana (and not even Germany or Portugal) on their mind.
It is shameful how unrealistic Ghana has been towards this 2014 WC. To target winning the WC as a strategy to bring the best out our team is ok. But to actually demand that we win the WC is pure foolhardiness particularly in the group we find ourselves in. For the past 32 years even winning the AFCON has been too tall a moutain for us to climb -and we would just rise up and go and win the World Cup? Shame unto all of us.
Neither the coach nor the players have any apologies or explanations to give anybody. They don't have to be crucified if their best efforts fail to give us victory. After all, there will be more world cups after 2014. What is more important is for us to keep on trying.

It lets you keep possesion a lot and score against weaker teams, but it doesn't allow for goal-scoring against good teams or even teams with the same ability as yours. In this world cup, I have noticed that most the teams who have used 4-2-3-1 have lost their matches--even the good teams. These teams include Ghana, Brazil (a different formation would have beaten Mexico), Croatia, Australia, Spain (used it for match against Chile and lost), Japan, England, and Bosnia-Herzegovina. The only exceptions are Colombia and Switzerland, who won against weaker opponents, and Nigeria who were evenly matched by Iran and tied. Appiah should use a different formation, but alas, we're already at the world cup so there's no room for experimentation (not that AA won't find a way to experiment).
