How can we let victory always slip us ? This game was for Ghana !! I prayed for a scoreless first half so that our players will realise that the game is for them. We should have taken the lead when we returned, we didn't, they did, but we quickly equalised, and then scored again. The game was for Ghana, not fit for a draw !

We surely should have protected our lead better. We made a similar error in our Match with the USA Team. Our Defense is actually the suspect. We still don't seem capable of defending tightly to the end.

In such Games, the defense cannot let up. As the German's had their reputation to defend, our defense ought to have known that they would keep hounding for the equalizer till the last second.

We are not good at finishing hard. Maybe we could learn a thing or two about how the Germans taunted us to the end, and how even Algeria strongly protected their lead in their Game against Japan, beating the latter 4 to 2.

Coach Appiah should instil into his players the importance of team work. Of course there are circumstances when individual skilful play can lead to a goal but the overall emphasis should be on team work.

We have a chance to shine against Portugal.... that is if the latter doesn't lose to USA. If Portugal loses then it is curtains for Ghana!

Ghana will improve more and more from now to future they did well they demonstrated strong head till last minute, is good to continue that way all the time, Dede goal was amazing, the boys don't fear any one that is good.

We should won this game. We lost from the bench/coach subs. Boye messes up against usa and u give him a start again? When I insult aa. Ppl say I'm disrespecting, but look! We played with vigor and hustle...but aa that hardheaded coconut is why we didn't win.
U use kasa on the wing. U replace rabiu with acquah or essien. U remove boye for sumaila. Dauda was watching the player in the second goal, not the ball. Boye played well in the firsthalf. it his mistakes what cost us. In the 20th minute, his tackle on muller should have been a penalty. Then u remove atsu for wakasso? Another poor decision. Look at the year atsu had with his club this or and how he played?. Wakasu barely played any games this season. AA brought in 3 subs. Only jordan did smthing better. Badu n wakaso didn't impact the game in any way. Defence wins tournaments, but u didn't make any changes to defence(boye).

Ghana would've been 3-1 ahead but for the selfishness of Jordan Ayew. Some players would put their country first before their own ego but the opposite is the case with some of our players. Self-centerdness on the part of J Ayew cost Ghana the crucial victory we needed yesterday.

We are very weak at defending in Corner Kicks. After the USA winning goal against us, one might think we would do better at tightening our defense during Corner Kicks. But it surely does not look like we learnt anything from the USA Match.

We had the weather slightly helping us against the Germans. And we ought to have simply kept them away from the ball in that last goal they scored. They were very exhausted. Only set pieces like from the Corner Kick offered them hope and we gave it to them.

In our last Game against Portugal, we stand a better chance to advance to the next stage with a win over them, they do with a win over us. So, we must do everything to shut them down and sneak some 2 Goals past them.

Ronaldo might want to redeem himself with a showcase of his prowess as the current World's best player. So, our Players must do well to contain him. Nani still got it. He can easily be underestimated. We must therefore not play 'kindly' with the Portuguese. They would like to use us to retrieve Ronaldo's fame that seems to be a little under a blurb.

Also what lessons did the Coach and entire Black Stars players learn to Secure the post well from the Netherlands friendly,and the US equalizer goals. Nothing !

In the face of the extreme humidity and heat that the 2014 Wold Cup Soccer Players face, almost in every game, I wonder why most of the Referees have not been taking advantage of the new FIFA rule that allows for Referees to offer a 30-second, or so, Water-break for the teams. I know it is to the discretion of the Referees. But it still makes no sense that most of them would not offer it to the players who often show early exhaustion.

The USA-Portugal Match is the only one that I saw the Referee give that break. I saw Germaine Jones of the USA team complaining and acting like he was wounded. Then with the approach of the Referee to him followed the award of that break.

Many may think it was too short to make any difference. But all who have been in Sports would testify how such a little relief could revitalize the participants or Players, and I think the USA Team benefitted from that Water-Break. At least, Germaine Jones did.

I wonder if such Water-Break had been given in the Ghana-Germany Game, the results could have been any different. Maybe it would have helped the Germans more because of the unfamiliarity with that Tropical Weather. But for the good of all the players, I think the Break is helpful to all, under similar conditions of Weather as the USA-Germany Game proceeded in, and should be offered more often.

I hope more of such Breaks are given in subsequent Matches. By the way, could that rule also extend to Cold, Freezing temperatures? We 'Children of the Sun' are also not used to the chilly conditions often encountered in Europe.
