  Why do we Africans so pleased with mediocrity? When we draw against teams like Germany, spain, brazil etc we jump to the high heavens to praise ourselves. Are those 'big'teams not supposed to be beaten? Look at little costa rica that has defeated Italy and Uruguay, two former champions. Is costa rica's economy, human and material resources better than ours? Ghana drew a match it NEEDED TO WIN AND EVERYBODY IS JUBILATING. why? People are prasing the coach and the team that has merely secure one point out of 6.Please dont start referring me to spain and england as waht happened to them in brazil is the exception and not the rule. A win by USA against Portugal which is possible today would mean Ghana is out! our Teams in Brazil should have the mentality of beating any team and not this african mentality of 'we tried' 'we did well by playing a draw with Germany' 'we were just unlucky' 'we did better than spain and England' 'africa still has 2 team in the last 16' etc. we should stop praising mediocrity except our objective was to make the numbers! Out of about 8 matches so far played by the African teams in brazil, we only have 2 victories and 2 draws or 8 out of 24. What a failure.

The guy secretly is the most feared player and winner of the team yet he's not on the pitch. How do you win epic clashes without your best attacker. It's baffling. Lightweights like Jordan is the one on the pitch. You can't win world cup matches if you don't use your best.

His decisions are a big blow to Ghana. if Ghana has a better coach at this world cup,we would not find ourselves in this nasty situations.I was happy when I saw Warris warming up to partner Gyan upfront.These two demolished Zambia and Eqypt in the qualifying round.Little did I know that he is going to bring on the Selfish Jordan who was playing for himself.Jordan would never be a good player with his selfish mentality,a trait he had inherited from his father.Look at the reaction of the 22 million Ghanaians when Jordan vehemently refused to square the ball for gyan when gyan was screaming and pointing with his hand for Jordan to pass the ball.And Appiah was screaming on the bench as well. It served him right.A coach who doesn't know what works well for him after 3 years in charge.He always gambles. If it was Warris who had that opportunity,he would have quickly pass that ball to gyan to score because the two have done it before. Gyan always said Warris is his best partner because they understand each after they thrashed eqypt 6-1 in Kumasi.Appiah have forgotten so soon.I know Appiah will sit down one day and admit to himself he had made bad decisions.

In Cairo, they put 3 defenders on him, to hack him down all the time yet he was always exploded through them. You let us wait for the results of the Portugal, US match. Then Monday like I did before the US, Germany matches, I will post the strategy Portugal uses and how to stop them and kill them so we can have at least four points with an eye on the Germany, US results

  The decision to field Jordan instead of was made quite easy by the mediocre performance put on by Waris so far.It may be the injury but Waris so far has been unimpressive and has shown no sign of hungry to excel.I don't blame Jordan for difficulties.This is a team sport and the team is not performing very well.Look at the goals our keepers conceded.They just froze in place.I think we needed more than two weeks to prepare for the world cup.

  On hindsight it could have been better, but that was a classic performance and it was amazing the team spirit, the determination and sheer wizardry that was exhibited in the second half, in which the goals were pouring in like water, with the chance for a few more, leaving the Die Mannschaft on the ropes and panting for breath and not knowing what hit them.
  It was most definitely a very magnificent performance and a huge improvement on the previous game, and it can only get better from this point on.
  We should have got a win but a win is still in the works and it is possible against the A Selecção with determination, confidence, focus, concentration and drive. The team spirit in this game was excellent although it could have been better especially upfront after we were 2 goals up, to seal this game completely. We have another opportunity to make good on this and should things go well, we would advance. The BS should not beat themselves up, because that was an electrifying performance, and this is even not the peak performance, you are just about getting there. Kudos for a very great game, absolutely exhilarating.

The mistake that the Ghana Black Stars made was when they committed the blunder in the first 30 seconds for the U. S. to score. Let is not allow such situations again to penetrate our defense.
