"The Truth" is not saying Black Stars players should not be paid or should play the games for free. He is only saddened by their disrespectful attitudes, uncivilized and selfish ethics they depicted in Brazil. Do you know they are the most highest paid players in the ongoing World Cup Tournament ? Yes, out of the 32 countries vying to win the WC, Ghana is the only country that pays her players $100,000 each as appearance fees. Nigerian is second with partly $50,000 each. So have you seen that you are just being ignorant? You don't even what's happening around the area you live at so how can you know what's going on in the world? If rich nations like America, Britain, Swiss, Holland, Italy, Spain, etc don't pay their players that high and they only play for their nation with sense of patriotism, nationalism, loyalty, reputation, and cheer love and are paid just little to boost their moral, why should any good thinker defend the barbaric and disgraceful conducts of these illiterate Black Stars players? All I am saying is yes, it is their job and so they need to be paid and not play it for free but they should have shown the president of Ghana and the over 25 million Ghanaian populace some respect and not have held the entire nation at ransom--all because of money. Secondly, they violated and abrogated their own agreement while they assembled in Ghana earlier last month before they came to Miami, in the U.S. for their final preparations. When they were in Ghana, both the Sports Ministry and FA authorities agreed with them that they (the officials of FA and Gov't) would pay the players $50,000 each but the players rejected it and so the final consensus by the players was $75,000 each. This was agreed further that each player would have his money be paid via bank debit card where they can use it to access their money from any country they may need money from. So what made them changed their mind in Brazil to demand a hefty sum of $100,000 each? Not only that, they rejected the president's assurance and demanded he bring them the money for them to see physically before they would play against Portugal. What type of misbehavior is this? Are you happen about it? Do you know the disgrace they have brought to every Ghanaian on earth? I tell you what, it is shameful living in U.S working with white people. For example, I look stupid anytime I go to work now. Because the only thing my co-workers and my directors/bosses discuss about Ghana is the bad manners of our players and the flying of $3 million to our players in Brazil. They have even forgotten about the good display the players showed against Germany. Before the saga of the players and their interest in money than honoring Ghana, everybody in this world was calping for the Black Stars players for having played so well against Germany and people all over the world respected Ghana. But now, people have bad memories against Ghana due to the bad characters of the players. If you are happy that players fled from their hotels and went out to have sex with prostitutes before playing matches, then it is up to you and God. If you are happy that players rejected the hotel given them earlier and GFA had to put them in extremely expensive hotel before they played games, then it is up to you and your creator. If you still don't see anything wrong about the fact that our players are womanizers, drunkards, disrespectful and arrogance, then you need to see your pastors for some prayers. If you still don't see anything wrong that it is improper for players to break bottles and slap elders in public, then you need some fasting and prayers so I will intercede for you in my prayers. Open your eyes and try to see what's going on in this world and ask God to offer you knowledge and wisdom to understand and to do a vivid or thorough analogical reasoning. Good luck!
