  With all the hoopla & fanfare that welcomed Freddy to the American soccer scene ... years ago, one would think that this kid would, by now, be the top or one of the top soccer players in the USA. It's too bad that his tremendous talent has been stifled & wasted by the American brand of soccer. At the time of his signing & introduction to the American soccer scene, I remember telling a Canadian friend of mine that if we went to Ghana to scout for soccer players, we'd find at least one "Freddy Adu"
  ( & even more talents) in each community.
  I hope Freddy is able to rejuvenate his career with his new team & prove his critics wrong.
