  I WAS THE FIRST TO JUMP TO SOULAMAN'S DEFENSE WHEN CERTAIN CHARACTERS TRIED TO INSINUATE MISBEHAVIOR ON HIS PART IN OUR EARLY EXIT FROM THE CONTINENTAL TOURNAMENT.I WAS INDEED MORE ANGRY THAT ZICO AND DIDI FAILED TO IMMEDIATELY COME OUT TO REBUFF THE RUMORS AND SAVE A VALUED MEMBER OF OUR CLUB FROM UNNECESSARY STRESS.HOWEVER SOULAMAN'S BEHAVIOR THERE AFTER TURNED MANY PEOPLE'S VIEW OF HIM.HE COULD HAVE ADDRESSED THIS THROUGH MANY AVENUES INCLUDING APPEALING TO FANS AND EVEN DIRECTLY TO OUR PATRON THE ASANTEHENE.HE CHOSE TO AVAIL HIMSELF TO NONE OF THESE BUT INSISTED ON ISSUING ULTIMATUMS IN THE MEDIA.IT MUST BE UNDERSTOOD THAT NO PLAYER IS BIGGER OR MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE CLUB.HE LOST A LOT OF GOODWILL AT THAT POINT.I WISH SOULAMAN HAD PARTED ON BETTER TERMS OR EVEN BETTER PLAYED HIS CAREER AT KOTOKO BUT IT JUST WAS NOT MEANT TO BE.ONCE YOU THREATEN THE CLUB YOUR CREDIBILITY FLIES THROUGH THE WINDOW.I WISH HIM WELL AND HOPE HE DOES WELL FOR HIS COUNTRY.

  Kotoko, I think, has rushed to this decision. Soulemana was very loyal and dedicated. He should have been allowed to take this decision and not Kotoko initiating it. I believe Kotoko will live to regret it. I pray for his suc ...

  I am also conflicted at Soulamans'leaving but it is true once he showed us his teeth there was no need to keep sharpening it for him.Let us say the management made a mistake by not defending him, that still doesn't make up for going public right away.We do things differently at Kotoko and obviously he failed to see that after all these years.I really liked him too but blew it.
