Anywhere,anybody is put n a position in this Government,the person makes sure he/she gets his/her share before leaving.

It is very disturbing that our Queens have not been paid their bonuses. Indeed it is a big shame. This disgraceful occurance has been going on unchecked. Students under government scholarshis abroad have to wait months before receiving thier stipends. Some students have to appear in court for not paying rent on time due to this behavior. I remember in 1971/1972 National Day games, in the finals of the Hockey competition. The winners(Northern Region) got the silver medals, instead of the gold and the runners up( Volta Region) "received" a hand shake. Such behavior does not speak well of us.

It's just sad that Ghanaian who provide tangible services and products that all Ghanaians can relate to are always left to dry by the leaders and administrators who run the such programs.

It is a major canker which requires all Ghanaians to step up and ask that all govt and program leaders defer their salaries within their organizations until monies owed the actual performers and providers of such services and products are compensated. We only seem to see the problem when our sportsmen and women complain. We have many of such patriots in the arena of our national service program. Nurses, doctors and recent graduates on secondment are required to report to their postings and begin serving. Months go by (even years) and no stipends or salaries are paid to such new entrants who may be working for the first time in their lives and often do not have any savings to take care of the daily wants. Whoever that complains and backs out of the program because he/she is not able to afford payments for transportation, rent and lodging is victimized. Certificates and reports which are needed for them to move on with their lives are not released.

Our leaders' message is that it does not pay to be a patriotic Ghanaian and the culture of distrust of govts and leaders is being woven into the fabric of all. It is sad.

I'll throw $1000 on the floor, by the time you bend down to pick it I'll be done. She thought for a moment then called her Black Star player boyfriend and told him the story. Her boyfriend then said to her, do it but "Ask him for $2000, pick up the money very fast he wouldn't even have enough time to undressed himself." So she agrees. Half an hour goes by, the boyfriend decides to call girlfriend, he asks, what happened? She responds, "The Bastard used coins I'm still picking and he is still fucking!"

It is unconscionable that as much as GhC 200 k is spent on a so-called presidential ball, for just a couple hours in one evening,when all these other concerns are put behind the back-burner!
Then again,where does Nyantakyi`s GFA come in? Why is FIFA and its allied organizations quick to breathe down the necks of national govts to stay away from FA matters,if stete agencies are the ones that have to foot these on-going expenditures? What does FIFA do with all the mega-millions of dollars it rakes in for these international tournaments anyway?
The National FAs with support from FIFA and CAF should make annual budgetary allocations for all these international events, so as to give meaning to the constant refrain about autonomy!
Is it not a national disgrace that our Premier League FCs have become vitual FARM CLUBS for other Football organizations in Africa as well a in Europe? The whole thing is 'crazy'!
