Coach Appiah should have been fired right after the Brazil World Cup. It was unthinkable for GFA to offer a 2 years renewed contract with him. I will fire anyone who was involved in the renewal of Appiah's contract. Please Mr. Ben Koufie your time is past. Take my advise and go home and watch some TV. You are too "kolo". Thank you for all your past services in the past. Leave the football scene to people who understands the current breed of players.

If ,Appiah is out then the GFA must go too. !!I thought when Appiah left we were going to stick with one of our own! The timing may be poor in your eyes because you live in the past or as somebody points out you are moaning because you have missed a golden opportunity to come back to the limelight through the back door. No disrespect meant but it is strange an octogenarian or thereabout was being touted as a Technical Director for the Black Stars. This shows the state of affairs in Ghana football up to now. Kwofi, on the flip side the timing is right. The GFA for a once in a long time have acted wisely, in my opinion to stop the rot before it's too late. What is important now is that the right person is appointed to take charge. I believe the GFA and many Ghanaians have learnt a lesson and wouldn't give a toss as to who takes charge whether he comes from the Moon or planet Mars as long as he can deliver.

GFA lied to the people of Ghana
including the president by bringing in technical adviser and appointing him a head coach; Akwasi Appiah does not deserve this shameful treatment from GFA- he deserves a better treatment!

So it was better to cut him loose before he could cause more disasters. Consequently, for once, I give the GFA high marks for doing the right thing. Appiah can therefore go on a high note, winning a match in Togo and the day after got the pink card. For those who think he is such a good coach, let them find him a coaching job elsewhere, it should not be difficult for a good coach, should it!
