  I hail from Gushegu, I was born in Tampe-Kukuo and my father ended up in Kanvili as the chief, yet my hometown is Tamale. I watched Braimah, the late senior brother of Abede Pele, play for Tamale Savana Stars (called Olympics in those days before a name change) when their family lived in Tamale. Like many others, the Ayews have every right to call Tamale their hometown even if they hail from Nania and were born in France and playing for Ghana.
