The whole thing was stage-managed by GFA in concert with the Ministry of Youth & Sports and the government, using NDC foot soldiers - lining up at the airport to welcome the players, using a convoy of over 200 motorbikes to escort the players to the hotel etc.

For, they know that Ghanaians are angry at the Black Stars and if things are left to take the natural course, the players will be booed wherever in Ghana they go.

The hostility shown them in Kumasi epitomizes the real sentiments of Ghanaians everywhere.

To invite poor Tamale citizens to line up the street and welcome BS players will not work. Stop creating false impression that Ghanaian has forgotten what happened in the last WC. Ghanaian would not put it behind them because the incompetent administration of the GFA president is too glaring and needs to be addressed ASAP. Tsuaaa! When we played 1-1 with Uganda in Kumasi, many unwisely blamed it on the apathy of supporters. Obviously, this is the main reason we shifted our home venue to Tamale and the propagandists have already started generating signals that this decision is right.
Guinea played better in Casablanca but couldn't beat us because, they had so much respect for us. Now they know we are ordinary and this can be good or bad depending on the attitude of the players in Tamale. If we think by merely sending the match to Tamale will give us victory, we will be shocked.
