If we are talking about games won, Ghana has won more games than Cape Verde. And therefore what is the basis for the FIFA ranking. Have you watched where England has been for years even though they have not done very well in the last 12 months? Brazil still remains among the top 10 even when they are not doing well. FIFA ranking is useless and I would not lose sleep over this corrupt ranking

Ghana is not tge only country in Africa to have gotten to quarter finals of the world cup, besides that episode was in 2010 worl cup and don't expect FIFA to continue to use dead exploit to measure current ratings in 2014. Ghana played in not less than four AFCON after 2010 world cup, what has Ghana achieved in all the four AFCON if not failures upon failures even against minnow countries as Mali, Burkina Faso, DR Congo, Cape Verde and Zambia. FIFA's rankings are not static, they measure current form and not past dead achievements.

People need to be realistic. We have a successful team that is not dominant. As a result we get our expectations up and then they disappoint. At the end of the day, I believe this team operates better as an underdog.

I wonder what the countries that are ranked above Nigeria have won in a decade! We are not bothered. Our Team women Team is in the final of the AWC and we are sure thwy will win. The Super Eagles is being re-positioned to ensure the right set of Players are invited to the National Team. I know in the near future we will win more laurels. The bogus ranking is inconsequential to us
