You have a valid point to some extent but then, the kind of fiasco that transpired under K Appiah could simply not be allowed to continue. There was a total lack of leadership under KA's regime. He is such a polite man and I admire him for it . However, his too calm nature contributed to the collapse of discipline during the World Cup. We need someone authoritative who has some fire in his belly to control the players as well as keep some undesirable GFA cohorts at bay. Alex Ferguson, Mourinho type of manager who can stand up to the GFA idiots that try to influence operations. Grant is a strong character who will put his foot down and get his way. Appiah failed to do that and it contributed immensely to the fiasco that was played out to the whole world during the last WC. To succeed at this level, you need to be both highly talented and tough. Grant possesses both qualities. He will take Ghana forward. Then hands over to Dessailley in three years time.

If the preoccupation of every lawyer called to the bar is to defend the defenseless, Osman Donfodio, aka. Nana Nimo, the so called GFA chief would never have won a wee bit of a case.
A bad lawyer of some sort.

His own clients would out of anger, beat him stupid and squarely for
being a habitual liar.

1.He sent an outrageous budget to the Ministry. He couldn't defend it so it was drastically slashed.
2. He maintained that his family flew first class on his own account but that was later found to be untrue.
3.He instigated players to force the 'appearance fee' so he could self-reap the harvest.
4.When he said, only two appearance fees, the value at which was shared among the crew was a white blanket lie. He personally took 'times two' of the appearance fees.
5.He wasn't true to himself when he said he supported coach AA 101% only to get him fired days later is consistent with a habitual lair.
6.Sharing and or distributing government's money without the corresponding receipts to file smacks of somebody who is a kleptomaniac akin to the proverbial "okorOmfotakyiamoa" the Akans say there is.
7.At one point he had said the GFA does not handle government's money. Turn out another lie, when it was realized that he had personally sent for close to a 500K and made himself the pay master. That was lie#7.
8.He prepared ghost vouchers for the dead and the absentee employee, most probably why he invented the coefficient 7 to cover for the management committee that never was.
9.He had invented a story about his own 'partners in crime' (the GFA) for being disloyal to him since matters discussed in closed circuit meetings had been leaked in mysterious circumstances. Apparently, such never occurred. He used that trick to solicit sympathy from the PCE.
10.He attempted jointly and severally that his appearance at the PCE would incur the wrath of the almighty FIFA, asomoa, that wasn't the truth. Letters that were purported to have originated from FIFA were all 'sakawa injunctions', completely doctored up.

Be as it may, as it continues to be, it continues to baffle me as to why this Osman guy is still in service. Can he in his right frame of mind manufacture another budget for the Government to consider?
Are we going to trust him in the wake of AFCON affairs?
OR He is still hanging in there cuz he's indispensable as he claims he is?

I have no issue against GFA engaging Avram Grant or whoever they deem fit for the job. However, I have a problem with hire and fire after one-match or even one tournament results. Managing a national team is a strategic matter which should not be judged by short-term performance only. Rome was not built in a day and fifty years after gaining independence we have shamefully failed to develop our country. So, we should give Kwasi Appiah's replacement adequate time to build up the team. More importantly, promises GFA and the management of the team make to the team members should be honored and on time to avoid similar cases of the Brazil 2014 fiasco. The morale of the team is as important as the skills of the team players in winning any game. Expecting grumbling players to deliver a win is an illusion. The team components are, the players,the technical staff,management,GFA,the fans,and the government. All actors in this team have to carry out their responsibilities expeditiously in
tandem and on time to achieve success. Firing Kwasi Appiah will not bring any gains to the Black Stars if the paymasters continue to give wanton promises and delay payments to players as it was the case in Brazil.
