Trash talking is leaving the reverend minister very little time to read his Bible which teaches that the words of the wise are few. He would be doing himself a world of good if he'd stay on the sidelines, away from the spotlight where little talking is done and in the process save what's left of his hard won reputation. No one can deny Coach Grant the credit that's his due should he win the tournament. With the little time remaining before the commencement of the tournament, it'd take the ingenuity of a master tactician like Avram Grant to win the championship. This first salvo of a political campaign against the new coach is an act of desperation that will ricochet to dent Osei Kofi's own reputation.

It is shocking that Osei Kofi who knows so much about football should make this comment. What Osei Kofi does not realize is that today's football is not player centred or resourcefulness as was during his time; but it is about mind over will, and strategic approach to the beautiful game. A good coach can read the run of play and make the necessary changes at the right time to win the game.

As much as I like Osei Kofi and think highly of him, it is utterly misguided on his part to say Avram Grant will not make any positive impact on the team. Maybe during his illustrious football career in the 60s and 70s, coaches did not have impact on the team, but today football is both art and science and and that's why coaches are highly paid because they must read the game strategically and produce the desired result.

My hero Rev. Osei Kofi the old days when coaches only taught players how to play the game are gone forever. Today's coaches are a combo of art and science teachers of the game who must read and interpret the game as it progresses and find solutions in 90 minutes to achieve the desired goal.

Why count your chicken before they're hatched? Fighting over that which hasn't come into being yet is foolishness.

As a minister of God, you should always encourage Ghanaians to unite and fight with a tenacity of purpose to win the trophy. What you're advocating will only lead to divisiveness, chaos and ultimately the Black Stars' defeat. That was one of the negative things that happened at Brazil 2014, and we as a country are poorer for it. Must we allow that to happen again? God forbid!

Instead of enhanc inc the Ghanaian coaches to take over the Black Stars they prefer to give thousands of dollars to a white man and give peanuts to a lack man. Black man and Ghanaians are our own enemies and not until we change our mentality, we will contine to be slaves even in our own country. I agree in to to with Rev. Osei Kofi. How many of these white coaches have won even the African cup for Ghana. All of our winnings at the African cup level were made by Ghanaians. Why change a system that wsorks?Time will tell.
