  I have come to the sad conclusion that the inability of the BS to repeat the enviable record of the 2010 World cup final is all due to the Ghanaian Media.Watching the Cameroon Mali match brought tears into my eyes. These are young men, most of them plying their trade in Europe but are prepared to die on the field for their country. From the beginning of the match to the end it was total war and nothing else. The purpose and spirit of the AFCON was exhibited by these two countries who gave it their all to the glory of African football.
  Now come to our once beloved BS. Our players play as if they are reserving their legs for a profitable assignment somewhere. These so called star players run like there is nothing at stake.Fact is folks, our players are simply mediocre. Look at these youngsters from Guinea and Cameroon, oh my God and yet the Ghanaian media portrays these players as some of the best in the world. Who are we deceiving?
  Untill and unless our Media begin to portray our players as ordinary, there will not be any motivation for hard work to achieve excellence.
