Look, even from afar as the United States, I can predict that Ghana will beat Equatorial Guinea—with or without Asamoah Gyan. So, regardless of home team advantage and support, Ghana will still beat the Hell out of Equatorial Guinea next Thursday.

Benching Asamoah Gyan for the Thursday game "WILL GIVE HIM ENOUGH TIME TO RECOVER FROM THE HIP INJURY" and return to wage serious war against the team that the Black Stars will play against in the FINAL Match. It's time that Ghana brings home the AFCON cup.

The real test will be in a final against either DR Congo or Ivory Coast. This is when we will see what we really are.

It was very clear, when Yattara attacked Atsu, that he the goalkeeper was frustrated.

What was grant waiting for?
Gyan was ket in the game to seek a record scoring goal. It was totally unnecessary.

Having said that we do not know if this was pre-arranged or agreed to. Maybe Gyan wanted a full 90 minutes. We will never know.

The referee was right to show him the RED card. But I think CAF should look into the incidence and sanction the goalkeeper, to serve as a deterrent for other offenders. The game of football should be friendly and cool; not with wickedness and rage!

His act was capable of maiming Gyan and thus ruining his career for good. His conduct must be treated as an offence beyond the statute of soccer.
