The Black Stars and their new coach were given the mandate to "do well" in the tournament. For me they have done very well if not better by reaching this stage. They must know that whatever happens they have won the hearts of many Ghanaians with their solid display. But it will be nice if they put the icing on the cake by annexing the trophy for Mother Ghana. What moved me during the fracas caused by the host's supporters in the semis was the fact that our players seemed very concerned, apprehensive and petrified at the ordeal of their fellow countrymen at the hands of violent hooligans. My prayer and wish is they must go for the cup for the sake of Ghana and especially for those brave men and women who suffered emotional and physical injuries on Thursday night in Malabo. It would be a nice way to boost their spirits and that of our dear nation as a whole. May the Lord Almighty continue to shower his Blessing and Grace on the team as He has been doing since the tournament began. Good Luck Black Stars. Long Live Ghana.
My Spanish girl-friend told me "YES WE CAN" AMEN
