Let's compare Gyan to some of the great Ghanaian strikers of the past. He has NEVER impress me with the way he plays. He don't attack. He don't dribble. He look lazy and confused on the field. He is a poor penalty taker for a striker. Above all, he scores a goal each after several good chances which any good striker will never miss target. In fact, he is an opportunist player who depends on others hard work.

Asamoah Gyan is one of the best strikers in the world. Its no mistake he is Ghana's top scorer and Africa's top scorer at the World Cup. He was top scorer at the WC qualifiers. He was top scorer for every season he's been in the UAE. He was also top scorer at the Asian Champions League. He scored against England, Germany, Portugal, Netherlands. He's beaten goalkeepers like Manuel Neuer, Petr Cech, Joe Hart, and Tim Howard. How many Ghanaian strikers can say that?

Why is everybody hating on Gyan. What has Ghana won with Stephen Appiah or Abedi Pele as captains? Gyan had malaria and was nursing an injury the whole tournament. He's still one of the best. Stop the hate. When people threaten your family and threaten to burn your father's house down because of a missed penalty and your dead mother urges you to swear to not take penalties anymore, I think most of you would stop taking penalties for Ghana as well.

People who don't know the size of a standard football would always condem gyan, if gyan had not scored against Algeria, Ghanaians would have tuned the heat on the president with insults, jerom decided to play for Germany instead of Ghana, and he won the world cup, we have intelligent people but for fear of being insulted they remain in their private domain, there is nothing wrong with constructive criticism, envy and hate is killing us, folks
