The lady never refused any scholarship but the crooks who failed in their bid to dupe her decided to put the blame on her, just like Nyantakyi managed to put all the blame on the Black Star Players. They know Ghanaians are stupid and will buy into any lies and propaganda. Some idiots even tried to place the blame at the doorstep of her manager. These Sports administrators and their paid journalists are all thieves who act like the are doing favours with their own money from their own pockets. The idiots act like tin gods with every athletes future in their hands. Thanks Martha, for seeking refuge with the President. You are a very smart child. Now let's see if the GOC and the GAA really want to help you. They can't hide anymore behind their shady deals.

For the past 3 year all of the athletes and me who got to the national level were told and explained to us the scholarship process. When i heard our sister martha did not want to continue school it was a shock. We spent 3 months with martha last year in training camp and we all help in our small way to prepare her for the youth olympics. Coach yendork trained her almost everyday for most of the time. She share room with Mary Zuta (senior athlete) and also Beatrice. When she was last in her heat at commonwealth games and african games and the media people where blasting GAA for bring her, professor dodoo was always talking to her and explain to martha what the paln was that is preparing her for youth olympics and she should not worry about the seniors because her running time was more important. So why are you doing this to martha? If the people who help her to get this far are so bad then how she get this far? stop this you are spoiling our sisters future

Be advised that community college is only 2 years duration. Ask for full university scholarship which might be more than 4 years depending how smart one will be. Take care.

The problem is that most community colleges don't have enough financial resource to sponsor foreign students. My bet is she should seek scholarship from 4-yr college; there're tons of them and stop wasting her time with these crooks.

I also initially wondered why and found online that even olympic champions went through junior college system. So before you bash GAAAA look into the individual athlete's situation first.
