Appiah, I'm sorry, this one I completely disagree with you. Players representing a nation do not hold allegiance to other players. Thier allegiance is to the nation. When Ben Kofie dissolved that CK Akonnor, Sammy Kufour team, why was Appiah the only one recalled and did Stephen heed that call? Could that also not be a interpreted as a betrayal of CK Akonnor, Sammy Kufour and co by Appiah. This should not be coming from the mouth of Stephen Appiah who is the embodiment of what that team did.

Shit. This position of Appiah is not only unfortunate, but a betrayal of trust by Ghanaians in his personality. So Appiah was happy that the players by whatever grievances they had with the football authorities were justified in throwing the chances of Ghana at the Brazil World Cup. Eventually they received whatever monies they were due even as Ghana lost out. Stephen Appiah by this position has lost my respect. All right thinking Ghanaians should boycott his ceremonial match in protest.

Appiah is saying the whole truth so the sensible few ,who have ears ,must listen to him. This is exactly the point I have been making this whole time- that the players betrayed Muntari who was fighting for the entire team. As a senior player, he has the right to talk without being told to shut up because the captain was talking. Why is it OK for Moses Armah to talk when GFA president is present but not OK for Muntari to talk when Gyan is present? Muntari's attack on anybody is unjustifiable. However, it is the double standard of the GFA that is troubling. As for the players, they are a huge disappointment for their silence on a person who was fighting for their interest, not just Muntari's personal interest. You can build solidarity with a person's stance on an issue, and still condemn his action/assault. Appiah is right. i bet GFA will not invite him ever again for anything

I certainly agree with your thoughts. What Muntari did in Brazil was not his calling. Yes, he did it for the team, as they wanted it and they got their appearance rewards from the government. I have been saying all along that the GFA is wrong asking him and Prince Kevin Boateng to apologize. Apologize for what, I asked? The GFA must also explain their crooked ways they handled the Ghana Black Stars player leading to the World Cup Tournament. Appiah, the former coach ought to be blamed for all the misgivings and hooliganisms. The GFA is responsible for all the troubles they have caused. The Black Stars players are not kids, they are professional players, therefore must be respected accordingly. Muntari is a very good player and we need him now. I say to Avan Grant to call him quick before the rest of the eliminations tournaments. This is my point.

Ghana is a country full of liars. A spade has no other name but a spade. We were born and bred in lies . Our parents teach us how to tell lies from primary one.The landlord comes to demand his rent and our parents hide in the bedroom and ask the kids to tell the landlord, dad and mom have travelled. When going to school, parents tell their kids to tell the teacher or headmaster that dad and mom have travelled if they ask them for school fees. What do you think we are teaching the kids.In America here, your one year old kid will tell you ,you are wrong if you don't do the right thing. Our cultural has some bad part that need to be addressed holistically if corruption and other social nuisance are to be eradicated . A spade has no other name but a spade.Bad is always bad and must not be tolerated . An elderly official who sits on players money is as guilty as a player who fight the official for his money given by FIFA. The money was raised by FIFA for the players, not for politicians.Appiah is right and Sully was fighting for his own money from FIFA not government loan from IMF.Our Ghanaian politicians like cheap money.Where they did not sow ,they want to reap.WHY AND HOW.

Stephen Appiah is on the verge of becoming the greatest player legend of our time if he succeeds in organising this the event extravaganza which comes off on Saturday. The goodwill he has surpasses any other player of our time in Ghana.
But my heart missed a beat when I read about his comment on 2014 World cup tournament. It is disingenuous, unwelcoming and unfortunate for him to be commenting on such a sensitive issue at this time. If Stevo (affectionately called) knew what is good for him, then he must steer clearer from this issue.
The society wants to honour him big time. He may need the support and goodwill of all including some of the players in the current Black Stars team should he accept any role in the team after his has been celebrated.
Appiah, if you'are listening to me, I say hush!!!!!! Say nothing more, ok?

A team is not a revolution no player owns allegiance to the other so in this case please Appiah I differ. When you go to represent a nation you do not go there to revolt if you have a case there are several ways to channel your case but you do not slap an official what ever the case might be.This is same like using your hands on your wife because you disagree on several issues so please Mr Capito do not please try to justify this because wrong is wrong and what is even more is just look at the track record of our star Muntare yes he is a great player but just toooo temperamental which bad for every team.I am not in any way defending our GFA or coach Appiah but there are rules everywhere in this world so you just don't take laws into your hands. You disciplined but Muntare has to really learn to comport himself because know coach wants an undisciplined person on his team because indiscipline is an infectious disease that can easily infect or incite others on the team and no team can succeed when things fall apart.Just rethink about it and you will accept that nobody ever has the right to take laws into their own hands you never expect any disciplined person to support such moves.

Appiah I am very sorry to hear that from you. What Muntari did was wrong and he needs to be told that especially by someone like you who has captained the team before. It is true that Muntari had a good reason for being angry with the team officials but his reaction or the approach he took to solve the problem was wrong. As a senior Black Star player he needed to set good example.
