Senegalese Demba Ba was snatched by Chelsea from Newcastle when he was at his best form but was eventually dumped when relatively he became surplus and largely underused. Today Demba Ba's football career has slumped and now in China league. Victor Moses, Atsu etc. are other very useful example for Baba Rahman to learn from. Chelsea has more than 30 players already on loan, many of who were bought just to "breed" like fowl and resell at profit to balance their excessive annual expenditure. Hope Baba Rahman doesn't fall a victim of football trading business.

Baba Rahman, will succeed at Chelsea. Of all the active Ghanaian players he is the one player I trust the most to succeed at the highest level. For one thing, he seems to know the fundamentals of the game. Add that to his strength on the ball and his humility as a person and you have a great player in the making. Though his being bought as a left back, my prediction is that he may end up partnering Zouma in the middle of defense in the future, or possibly join Matic in the middle.
