Remember that anyone, even a Head of State, can be denied a visa to another country. This is certainly a subtle warning to Kwasi Nyantakyi and his cabal that, the US authorities are keeping close tabs on them, and would do everything possible to publicly embarrass them.

Every country, including Ghana, has the sovereign right to grant or deny visas. Nobody anywhere is entitled to a visa to a particular country.

Canada players have no problem to enter USA, but Africans have. If they wanted strong opponent, they should have collected the names of players, and present them to USA immigration or come through canada to USA.

I have great faith in these 3 players to shine and deliver. Accam and Poku have been lighting up the MLS whilst Ofosu, although in the Bundelisga second tier has proved himself to be a very tough defender.

My brother your selection looks like the real deal given the players in camp. I don't know what is going on in training, but your defensive line-up looks like the one that will feature. I like the forward and midfield set-up as well. But I suspect Grant may try and accommodate Abdul Majid Warris along side Jordan and shift David Accam to the left wing; Wakaso left midfield; Badu central midfield and Acquah right midfield if not at the start then sometime later in the game. Nobody is entitled to an entry or residence visa for a particular country. The fact that someone has millions does not mean that person will not try to stay in the US for whatever reason.

Many Ghanaians (and others) use their money to set up base for legitimate as well as illegitimate business.
It is the sovereign right of any country (including Ghana) to decide who she wishes to allow entry. This has nothing to do with bullying.

To be honest, I can see Lloyd Sam or Bernard Mensah changing he narrative here. This friendly is definitely the chance for some attacking players to prove who they are.

The last consideration is simply not plausible in the case of these players who have active contracts with teams that are paying them better than they might earn in Canada.

I thought Visas could be expedited for such Sports folks to enable them participate in games abroad. Or, Canada does not offer any such privileges to anyone?

Well, either way, I hope Ghana can still win against Canada with the rest of the Players, even though the game would be tougher than many think. Canada is said to have revamped its squad with new additions lately. The Black Stars must take Canada for granted and play as hard as is expected of them.
