Can the journalist please clarify this point for us:
"Opoku received an extra cash prize of US$1000 from former Hearts of Oak board secretary Ernest Thompson, who was chairman for the occasion"
Was the money the player received a personal contribution of Mr. Ernest Thompson, or was that the official amount given to the player for being declared a winner? If that is Mr. Thompson's personal contribution, is the journalist not supposed to tell the public what prize the player received for being declared a winner? Thx.
