The number 13 was offside, but he did not go for the ball, so there was no infringement on his part. The goal was clean. Ghana is just simply lucky to get away with this.

If the 13 had stood still, the goal would have been accepted. But some linesmen would give the goal, though.
In any case, our keeper is too poor! Most keepers who are in the European leagues could have tapped the ball over. He raised one hand as if he was catching a fly.

It seems u dont know offside rules. The rules has to do with exact player that touches the ball and his/her position when the last player kick the ball. It was a clean goal according to the rules.

The player who scored the goal was on side, but there was another player in offside position who interfered with play. Had that player not moved, it would have been a perfect goal. Too bad

I think that because he was right in front of the goal and behind Boye, it could be argued 1) He distracted the goalie and 2) He forced Boye to change his retreat angle.
I would say that I would have allowed the goal myself but I understand the logic behind the call and I have seen it before.

I think many folks may not be aware but this is a new regulation I believe. If a team mate is in an offside position irrespective of the fact that he is interfering with play or not then a goal scored could be disallowed. But nevertheless, we must count ourselves lucky not to have lost the game. Many more controversial and plainly dubious goals have been allowed by match officials in some matches. It seems to me like many Ghanaians including myself, the Black Stars technical bench did not have enough technical information about the Comorans. It's a wake up call for the Stars to wake up. It is a lesson that many hitherto unknown football nations are on the rise and as such no team must be taken for granted. Any team that takes another for granted does so at it's own peril.

This gave the keeper 2 options of catching the ball -- either the scorer will score himself or will square to the 13 to score. This is what made it an off side. If the 13 had stood still, the keeper knows he has one option -- that is to stop the scorer!!!
I think many of us don't watch European matches at all.
We don't pay attention to players coming back from an off side position to score, interference with play, and so on.
