He's the head coach of the Ghana Black Stars and to monitor players at home and abroad so that is enough excuse to extend his tentacles to reach players wherever he can find them. Now the GFA has to come up with a legislature to curb players exodus so he will have more time identifying players and staying in Ghana.

I'm wondering why all of a sudden we are putting pressure on Grant to stay in Ghana to monitor the local players. What is there to monitor in our domestic league anyway? A league that is so boring that Ghanaian soccer fans are refusing to watch. What is happening presently are some of the things the Ghanaian coaches do as a way of rocking the boat of foreign coaches when they realize they are becoming successful. The other day Augustine arhinful was lambasting Coach Grant for not staying to monitor the domestic league. Today its coach Sarpong. Let me humbly ask these guys how many days Akwesi Appiah stayed in Ghana in a year when he was the coach of the Black Stars and how many times did he organize a seminar for other Ghanaian coaches during his tenure? The fact is he himself was not qualifies so those complaining today did not then because they might be wondering why the FA would allow the blind to lead the blind. Where was Arhinful and Sarpong then. This ''skin pain'' attitude that some of our coaches have started displaying has to stop and it has to be now.
