    The case is whether or not Rashid ever visited the Mallam and wheter the Mallam caused Jerry's injury or not. The lawyer's interpretation of the case is wrong. Therefore the case can be prosecuted in court.

    I hate to agree with Ghanafuo but he is right. Sumaila can only sue the Mallam for defamation of character. This is a civil suit not criminal.
