For your information, in case you haven't watched Leister City games, Amartey isn't skillful with the ball and therefore not a good right back. He's a center back. Yes, it will be nice to get an upgrade for Afful but Amartey isn't the answer.

This is not to say he is inefficient or effective.... just needs covery from those high ball situations.you know in tournaments, great players abd coaches explore all avenues to win a match. Frank Amankwa of Kotoko and Black Stars fame was short but could out jump taller opponents.,so a point well noted if we are to bring any cup home.

The first goal was scored by Gotze when he headed down a midair, not an overhead, cross and the ball bounced off his thigh. Afful didn't stand a chance because the ball was coming from his, right between him and Boye. Nothing in the video shows the ball went over Afful's head. Having a short defender is a problem but it is malicious to overstretch one bad incident into many. Comments should be based on facts people.

Wakaso has been making some great passes and Atsu joined him yesterday. It is a consideration to replace Afful with Amartey when we are ahead in games and playing a taller opponent. I like Afful but the lack of height can make a difference in certain situations. If we are leading in a game against a better quality opponent we could pay a price on a random high ball in the box.
