GFA Disciplinary Committee are bogus, partial and tribal. They are only pampering Accra Hearts of Oak and have deliberately waited after Hearts hosted Kotoko and raised hefty amount before issuing this bogus and too cheap 'punishment.' This is no punishment. Considering the huge gate proceeds Hearts got from Kotoko game, GFA DC should have slapped Hearts with 100,000 Gh and outrightly banned them 5 games from Accra Sports Stadium. Allowing Hearts play their 3 games at their own venue is unwise decision on the part of GFA DC.

If Kotoko fans had done the barbaric and hooliganism acts in Kumasi, the GFA DC would have rushed and fined Kotoko the next day or 2-days after.

GFA couldn't ban Hearts because they are in bed with the team. I'm not surprise at all--because the DC chairman if a strong Hearts man. Shame onto him and all his low-minded DC members. Enemies of Kotoko. Are they telling the whole world that if football fans had died as a result of Hearts hooliganism against WA All Stars, this would be the only so-called punishment they would have given to Hearts? These FA DC members have low IQ.

I know this is the standard practice for the West but we could try something different that works for us without stunting the growing fans enthusiasm.We could install CCTV cameras to monitor and hire more security personnel to deal with the isolated incidents before they mushroom.Playing behind closed doors not only collectively punish every football fan but also inadvertently affect service providers and merchants whose businesses depend on the sport clubs, stadium operations and fans at the stadium.Surely we can chew gum and walk at the same time.If GFA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports can not provide this basic safety service then they have no business bringing so many people together at one place.
