One would have expected this reporter to have provided his readers with a little history regarding the Bantama Stool, and also the fact that this fine gentleman, takes over from an older brother, the late Owusu Amankwatia V., even though by custom, succession generally passes from father to son,[patrilineal inheritance].
For those who care to know, their father was the 'larger-than-life' an debonair businessman, and himself a Bantamahene, Mr. A. A Owusu of blessed memory.
