Gyan has served us well, he is one of the world's best strikers ever. He may not get the recognition but that should not bother him because that is the way it is, our leaders have betrayed us, we have no respect anywhere.

World's best strikers? Ghanaians are just like the British. We hype our players . GYAN is not a world striker just as Rooney. Gyan is good but nowhere near a best world striker .How do you rate world strikers?

I think you have to give him credit. He is one of the best Ghana has seen. His winning goals against USA and Algeria will always be remembered. His goal to draw with England in the friendly in 2011 is also legendary. Unfortunately, the Uruguay penalty in 2010 will always be a cloud in his career but that is football. What I would say about Gyan is that he is probably the most entertaining striker on and off the field to come out of Africa. Only Drogba had more charisma.

This is where most Ghanaians & British football fans go wrong. Take Rooney, he is nothing extraordinary but the British rank him as a world class striker .
The classic goal by Aduana Stars player recently does not make the player world class . Gyan is good but not world class.

Good point. He is good but we have seen better players who have played for the Black Stars before. If Africa had.five World Cup slots, perhaps a few other Ghanaian players would be boasting of 6 or more goals in the WC.
