  the thing is Ghana has a lot of young talent and they could do well in any sport. The problem is that the system is cancerous. I could sponsor a young tennis player and take her to the top. Look at Serena Williams and her sister. Serena just broke all the records and worth $77million. But why would I invest in a young athlete and sponsor her and try to get her to the top when I KNOW THAT THE FEDERATION PRESIDENTS OF WHATEVER SPORT I DECIDED TO TAKE THE YOUNGSTER THROUGH, AND I'MNOT SAYING TENNIS HERE BUT WHATEVER SPORT, AS SOON AS YOU GET ANYWHERE, THE PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERATIONS IN GHANA START PLAYING DICTATOR AND DEMANDING MONEY OR TAKING BRIBES FROM A RIVAL PLAYER. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS! So no one in their right mind, with money and goal and aim to develop a young Ghanaian to the top for the greatnes of the coutry, for their sport and for the individual and for legacy, will EVER take that kind of risk because you will be wating your money doing something good for the individual bad apples who are running things to get in the way of progress. IT is sad but true. So well done to this organisation for sponsoring beach soccer or whatever and I wish there were more sponsors for everything But the sponsorship will only be forthcoming and the big money in sports just as it is all over the world, only when the sports industry, federations and the way they are run is cleaned up from root to branch. Until then, it will never ever fully realise commercial potential in sports in Ghana
