The refusal to give him the job shows clearly how immaturist our traditional rulers are. If you have a meeting with someone and you don't want them to go the media, you tell them straight away from the meeting not to do so.

Your statement shows how ignorant you are of our traditions.From the North all the way to the South we have the same traditional norm where the King, Chiefs and traditional leaders announces or introduces their appointees and rresentatives.Kufuor's gaffe in jumping gun on this norm was not in anyway intended to be malicious but rather a sign of enthusiasm.Nothing wrong with that except Kufuor's failure to keep privileged discussions private which showed he wasn't ready to manage a sacred institution like Kotoko?Unlike some others we don't give up our heritage to the first person with a smile.

This guy needs intelligent and educated people around him to give him advice. After coming out and making that statement, he gave Otumfuo no other option than to pull the rug under him.

By virtue of your qualification and performance you go home telling all you got the job without waiting for a congratulatory or appointment letter. What will you tell your folks if someone else got the job? There is always greater or lesser persons than yourself. Kufuor erred.

Please, read the article properly. Kuffuor did not actually say he does not care for Kotoko. These journalists have a way of putting words into people's mouth to make them look bad. What he said was, 'he had moved on from the disappointment of Kotoko, but football is football. If the opportunity ever presented itself again, why not? He could go for it'. These journalists made it seem like he snubbed Kotoko. I don't think that is the case. Please go easy on the guy. He has paid his dues for our motherland, as far as football is concerned. Thanks.

Football is about money and management. Kufuor has the money and the Bayrn Munich exposure to run Kotoko well. But sadly, Otunfuo has other priorities: his ancient Royal culture which is incompatible with modern football management.
