  It is time we fully investigated how the GFA and the Ministry of Sports manage the Black Stars and other National Sports programs and organizations.
  
  We cannot allow the Nation to be so humiliated every time we have to go abroad to contest in a competition. The last time it was the Brazil World Cup, then the Olympic Games, and now this.
  
  We did not set up the GFA to become a feeding ground for only a few suckers who would use all kinds of schemes to milk the Institution, and live off the efforts of the Athletes. The GFA was not set up to be only yet another source of employment for some crooked big belly Officials who dine and wine at the expense of the Teams.
  
  The Nyantakyi GFA has overseen way too many of such embarrassing financial debacles in and around the National Teams. Enough is enough. And it seems it is time for him to move on for another better competent leader take the reins.
  
  One would even think that these GFA Officials would have the gumption to manage their affairs right so that even if they milk our Teams, we would always have what it takes to compete in other Competitions without any financial problems.
  
  It may have become the mindset of these Officials that since most of the Black Star Players are wealthy Professionals, the Nation ought not spend any amounts on their participation in National contests but rather expect the Players to sacrifice more to fund those activities.
  
  That is most stupid! We don't say that our Presidents were already wealthy before they entered into Politics and therefore we should not pay them salaries when come into Power. Do we?
  
  The Players deserve our fullest support, and the Tax payers revenue that the Parliament budgeted for supporting the Teams must be wisely spent to the greatest benefit and convenience of the Players, not the GFA Officials.
  
  The Government must therefore recall the GFA leadership for proper inquiries into what the hell is happening to cause all these recurrent shortfalls in the upkeep of the Teams.
  
  We should never get into this mess again. Proceeds from various games must be duly and properly accounted for. If there are anything that is not necessary but funds are wasted upon in the running of the Black Stars and other Teams, we ought trim the expenditure down to bare necessities that would make the Players motivated to perform at their peak to bring glory to the Nation.
  
  Long Live Ghana!!!
