What benefits comes out of this? It is the team that suffers in the end, not Avram. If he leaves Ghana, he'll get another job, and NO foreign coach will want to come to Ghana.

This is killing the team! It's like two parents feuding and the father decides to withhold child support payments to force an issue. Who suffers? The child!

Even if they qualify they can't win the world cup so why should we pamper a lazy coach and be paying him outrageous salary for doing very little or no work all in the name of a world cup and doing well internationally. The teams is already suffering so your assertion that the team will suffer is neither here not there. A team that comprises bench warmers and half fit players who cannot even beat rwanda is a reflection of a suffering team and is not worthy of being supported. And you also claim no foreign coach will like to coach Ghana.....in fact Ghana doesn't need a foreign coach to do well. After all these so called foreign coaches always use Ghana to better their CV's and leaves us at the end. All out four nations cup trophies were won by local coaches. Check Ghana's position on the current FIFA rankings and compare it to when kwesi Appiah was in charge and conclude for your self.

If seems like all the dirty laundry is coming out in the public and this is simply a distraction for all involved including the players and the fans. This team can compete with the best teams in the World and we know that. We are not looking to win the WC but we want to participate and get out of our group and depending on match ups the team could go far. Every year there is a surprise in the final eight. In 2010 it was Ghana and in 2014 it was Costa Rica. I do not agree that we should say Ghana cannot win the World Cup. Once you get to the final eight anything can happen.

The minister doesn't see the bigger issue or more likely, doesn't care. If Ghana wants to attract a quality coach post Grant, they won't come to Ghana knowing the type of mess they are jumping into. Sure there will be foreign coaches applying but just because you get a 'white face', doesn't mean you'll get a quality coach.

I'm also surprised at how ghanasoccernet is fighting for the salary of a lazy foreign coach to be paid but the same web site is not fighting for the salaries of the coaches of the youth national teams to be paid. Those coaches have not been paid over 6 months now. Even up till now, coach Opeele has not been paid for being the assistant coach of the black starlets for over four years now. Ghanasoccernet is just a propaganda machine of the FA. smh
