AA BLOOPERS & MISQUOTES:
.James Akwasi Appiah has blamed nature for his side’s inability to qualify to the next stage of the Caf Confederations Cup. LOL..Al Khartoum were compelled to finish the game while it was raining and lost the game by a lone goal. WAA LOOK. REALLY, SO WHY DID THE THE OTHER CLUD NOT BLAME THE RAIN FOR THEIR WIN? DID GOD TELL THE OTHER TEAM TO PREPARE FOR A RAINY GAME? https://ghanasoccernet.com/former-black-stars-coach-akwasi-appiah-blames-rains-for-al-khartoums-confederations-cup-slump
.Ghana Assistant coach Kwesi Appiah blames ill-luck for their lone goal loss to Zambia in the semi final clash of the 2010 Orange Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday in Bata. REALLY..ILL LUCK? WHAT ABOUT U FAILED TO PREPARE WELL. SO U THINK ZAMBIA GAVE CREDIT TO LUCK FOR BEATING GH 1 NIL? SO HAD AA WON, WOULD HE HAVE GIVEN CREDIT TO TB JOE SHUA OR LUCK OR PREPARATION?
.In an interview with German television network Eins shortly after Ghana lost to USA, an obviously angry Boateng in answer to why he came on late into the game retorted If Akwasi Appiah thinks the first selection was better than him then he should continue on that path. Meanwhile German football analyst have also questioned why Essien and Boateng were kept on the bench during the first half of the game.
.A number of people however believe the former Black Stars captain is not up to the task and failed to deal with the disciplinary problems within the team that have also been blamed for Ghana’s early exit.
.The Bankroller of King Faisal Football Club Alhaji Karim Grunsah says Ghanaians must stop deceiving themselves and admit to the fact that Akwasi Appiah needs technical help. “Football is not joke, it’s not a joke at all, we Ghanaians we are joking…we are not being sincere to ourselves…AKwasi Appiah needs help”
.Kwesi Appiah was involved in an altercation with Kevin-Prince Boateng yesterday after Appiah thought that a comment Boateng made to Sulley Muntari was aimed at him. According to reports, Appiah swore at Boateng, who questioned why the head coach was shouting at him in front of every body. Appiah later on broke down in tears when the Black Stars entourage was having dinner and he had to be escorted out of the dining area by Prof. Kwame Mintah.
.Sacked Ghana national team coach James Kwesi Appiah blames assistant coach Maxwell Kondu for stabbing him in the back. members of the technical team feel betrayed by the action of Maxwell Konadu, whom they have christened as ‘Nyantakyi’s doodle’. “For instance, Maxwell never opposed the idea of bringing in a technical advisor for the Black Stars. “Maxwell shockingly granted an interview before the World Cup and seemed to have questioned Kwesi Appiah’s decision of not calling up Awal Mohammed. Whilst in Brazil, a lot happened when Maxwell was rumoured to be giving different training instructions to the players instead of what the coach had given out. “Maxwell seemed to be eyeing the Black Stars job from day one and the Coach Appiah is now beginning to fully understand some of the things that happened in Brazil.
.I had concerns with his starting XI especially with the decision to play two natural right-backs in Samuel Inkoom and Daniel Opare in the right and left back position respectively. My concern was simply why a coach won?t be confident enough to give a chance to the natural left-backs he called into the team.
.'There was an incident at practice yesterday,' Boateng told SportBild. 'Sulley Muntari and I were joking around after a one-on-one. We both started laughing. The coach immediately stopped practice and asked why we were laughing. 'We said that everything was okay and he sent us to the locker room. I went to the coach after practice and asked whether I could talk to him for a minute. 'I asked him what he had against me, then he started shouting at me. He also insulted me. He said things like “f*** off”. Appiah insists he does not hate the player and that Boateng must examine his own conduct. “I do not habour hate against any human being and I will rather wish he does an in search to find out why out of 23 players he was the only one who had problems with both the technical team and officialdom,” Appiah said. TWEA, SOMEONE DIDNT PAY DATS WHY....
.AFTER PLACING 5TH IN SUDANESE LG. APPIAH SAYS..AFTER LEAVING GH JOB FOR 2 YRS, HE HAS IMPROVED AS COACH.
.“My ambition was to build a team that the nation will depend on for the next 10-15 years and if you recollect I was being criticized for not having a regular team because my team had new faces. Former Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah has revealed to Starr Sports his main ambition was to groom players for the senior national team for the next 10 to 15 years. REALLY? NAME 1 LEGENDARY NATIONAL TEAM COACH WHO HAS BUILD A NATIONAL TEAM FOR 10-15YRS? U DONT HAVE A CRITERIA FOR NATIONAL TEAM SELECTION. UR AMBITION IS TO WIN TROPHIES, NOT TO BUILD A LONGTERM TEAM...
