What influence has George Afriyie and for that matter any GFA official over Avram Grant? I thought by now these cowards would have stopped the lies. You said you stopped Avram from traveling meanwhile we all knew the guy was not in Ghana. The fact is you all fear Avram like "kakai". He has all of you FA guys in his pocket! Why can't you fire him? Poor Kwasi Appiah.

Asempa, I echo your sentiments 100%. Allow me to add a few to points to broaden the minds of our readers.
The question needs to be asked; what record of achievement did Avram Grant have before been hired as a caretaker by Chelsea? And if he wasn't good enough for a domestic club then why should he be hired to manage our national pride?
There are Ghanaian players abroad that would make a very good team, but you need the right manager to select them.
It's unbelievable how the GFA boss has held on to his job amidst the bribery scandal, World Cup player indiscipline, very poor GPL management causing financial
loss, never hired a coach of any caliber, the Serbian/Balkan outfits were the biggest joke, conflicts with government, need I go on ?
Should we ask the FIFA delegates how they were convinced to vote for him ? Here's a clue ????.
Another point but slightly off topic is why should our stadiums be named after Ghanaians dead and buried?
when we have corporations like MTN who will sponsor the stadiums thus grossing revenue for sports foundations and development.
Fellow Ghanaians, corruption is one thing but when it's a combination of incompetence, ignorance, non-visionary strategies then we all need to sit up.
We as people/collective hold the
mass power. Let us demonstrate, lobby and let's get these people out of leadership.

AA BLOOPERS & MISQUOTES:
1.James Akwasi Appiah has blamed nature for his side’s inability to qualify to the next stage of the Caf Confederations Cup. LOL..Al Khartoum were compelled to finish the game while it was raining and lost the game by a lone goal. WAA LOOK. REALLY, SO WHY DID THE THE OTHER CLUD NOT BLAME THE RAIN FOR THEIR WIN? DID GOD TELL THE OTHER TEAM TO PREPARE FOR A RAINY GAME? https://ghanasoccernet.com/former-black-stars-coach-akwasi-appiah-blames-rains-for-al-khartoums-confederations-cup-slump
2.Ghana Assistant coach Kwesi Appiah blames ill-luck for their lone goal loss to Zambia in the semi final clash of the 2010 Orange Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday in Bata. REALLY..ILL LUCK? WHAT ABOUT U FAILED TO PREPARE WELL. SO U THINK ZAMBIA GAVE CREDIT TO LUCK FOR BEATING GH 1 NIL? SO HAD AA WON, WOULD HE HAVE GIVEN CREDIT TO TB JOE SHUA OR LUCK OR PREPARATION?
3.In an interview with German television network Eins shortly after Ghana lost to USA, an obviously angry Boateng in answer to why he came on late into the game retorted If Akwasi Appiah thinks the first selection was better than him then he should continue on that path. Meanwhile German football analyst have also questioned why Essien and Boateng were kept on the bench during the first half of the game.
4.A number of people however believe the former Black Stars captain is not up to the task and failed to deal with the disciplinary problems within the team that have also been blamed for Ghana’s early exit.
5.The Bankroller of King Faisal Football Club Alhaji Karim Grunsah says Ghanaians must stop deceiving themselves and admit to the fact that Akwasi Appiah needs technical help. “Football is not joke, it’s not a joke at all, we Ghanaians we are joking…we are not being sincere to ourselves…AKwasi Appiah needs help”
6.Kwesi Appiah was involved in an altercation with Kevin-Prince Boateng yesterday after Appiah thought that a comment Boateng made to Sulley Muntari was aimed at him. According to reports, Appiah swore at Boateng, who questioned why the head coach was shouting at him in front of every body. Appiah later on broke down in tears when the Black Stars entourage was having dinner and he had to be escorted out of the dining area by Prof. Kwame Mintah.
7.Sacked Ghana national team coach James Kwesi Appiah blames assistant coach Maxwell Kondu for stabbing him in the back. members of the technical team feel betrayed by the action of Maxwell Konadu, whom they have christened as ‘Nyantakyi’s doodle’. “For instance, Maxwell never opposed the idea of bringing in a technical advisor for the Black Stars. “Maxwell shockingly granted an interview before the World Cup and seemed to have questioned Kwesi Appiah’s decision of not calling up Awal Mohammed. Whilst in Brazil, a lot happened when Maxwell was rumoured to be giving different training instructions to the players instead of what the coach had given out. “Maxwell seemed to be eyeing the Black Stars job from day one and the Coach Appiah is now beginning to fully understand some of the things that happened in Brazil.
8.I had concerns with his starting XI especially with the decision to play two natural right-backs in Samuel Inkoom and Daniel Opare in the right and left back position respectively. My concern was simply why a coach won?t be confident enough to give a chance to the natural left-backs he called into the team.
9.'There was an incident at practice yesterday,' Boateng told SportBild. 'Sulley Muntari and I were joking around after a one-on-one. We both started laughing. The coach immediately stopped practice and asked why we were laughing. 'We said that everything was okay and he sent us to the locker room. I went to the coach after practice and asked whether I could talk to him for a minute. 'I asked him what he had against me, then he started shouting at me. He also insulted me. He said things like “f*** off”. Appiah insists he does not hate the player and that Boateng must examine his own conduct. “I do not habour hate against any human being and I will rather wish he does an in search to find out why out of 23 players he was the only one who had problems with both the technical team and officialdom,” Appiah said. TWEA, SOMEONE DIDNT PAY DATS WHY....
10.AFTER PLACING 5TH IN SUDANESE LG. APPIAH SAYS..AFTER LEAVING GH JOB FOR 2 YRS, HE HAS IMPROVED AS COACH.
11.“My ambition was to build a team that the nation will depend on for the next 10-15 years and if you recollect I was being criticized for not having a regular team because my team had new faces. Former Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah has revealed to Starr Sports his main ambition was to groom players for the senior national team for the next 10 to 15 years. REALLY? NAME 1 LEGENDARY NATIONAL TEAM COACH WHO HAS BUILD A NATIONAL TEAM FOR 10-15YRS? U DONT HAVE A CRITERIA FOR NATIONAL TEAM SELECTION. UR AMBITION IS TO WIN TROPHIES, NOT TO BUILD A LONGTERM TEAM...

These guys get on the pitch to play & not to show off as our BS players do show off. Jordan is particularly in mind. He is not serious & does not deserve to be called again till he "grows" up. Which serious player in the world will draw his pants down to sag intentionally in a game? If you doubt me go back to watch the disaster games in Brazil. I thought he would change but no.
Dede, even when half fit, shows commitment to a game. That is why we miss him every time.

I agree it is too late to be negative. This is one of those situations where you have to meet with the coach and the players and tell them to let it all hang out and take some risks because there is nothing to lose. Being negative is only going to create undue pressure. I think the problem has been that Grant is too scared to take any risks so he is just doing the same thing all the time and now some of our opponents have figured us out.

In Ghana where soccer is our main sport, our country doesn't even give a pesewa to our retired players. Cecil Jones Attuquayefio died of throat cancer n he was not even buried as a hero. So was Osam Duodu.

A cross section of Ghanaians are not happy , not because of the team's performance lately. But for those managing the team.OOPS! I mean, Kooach 'no nim 3ho bi paa.'
Players nko?
OR none of the above?
Avran Grant:
Picking players on merit, I know for certain, would solve that cankerous, malignant, stagnant, and of course, the abysmal display we're seeing this year.(To borrow from KN) I would say the GBS play is unattractive.
Most of us think in a different school thinks the coach is lazy based on his lackadaisical approach to service in general. I would put it this way that, the coach is not lazy but he's only waiting for time. But then, time and tide waits for no man.
Have had only a day or two preparations before games proper. is been two years now but one cannot see or observe his tactical formations. His subs/priorities are wrongly placed. He's arrogant as he's 'too full in his shoes'.
He's uncharacteristically gloomy in his outlook when on stage and displays such a horrible demeanor in his 'skintight' blue raggedy shirt.
He is always on his toes/wheels scavenging Europe under the guise of scouting and monitoring players that never was and or had never been.
Am glad the people are contemplating showing him the door sooner or later.
The Boys:
They are not playing well. That is a cognitive fact we cannot deny.
Loosing games to mediocre teams in the series during the build up of the qualifiers is something we cannot be proud of.
The boys though talented, have no top notch/peculiar individual skills that can spark off the entire team to success any given competitive match when it counted.
Besides, most of the players are in the second tier divisions. Those who are in the premier level operates from the bench. They are hardly filled. Not well groomed at all.
The 3 Musketeers:
It hurts,OOPS!. I cannot come to terms
with myself supporting these three GFA musketeers who parade themselves as the best Ghana has ever had.
They are Sanni Diara,
George Afriyie and Akwasi Nyantakyi.
Sanni for instance, appears to be more knowledgable(the booklong type)but he lacks 'Badwam Kasa' The Sanni we knew in his BBC era has gotten level headed after he was made to taste/take a bite at the 2014 WC coefficient cake.He was not supposed to be anywhere near the management crew, yet through the auspices of his immediate boss, the 'Northern Show Boy' he corruptly took cool hundred grand known to the players as the 'appearance fees'.
Ever since then, Sanni has been transformed as the chatterbox of the joint. Would jump at any opportunity to defend and echo his master's voice
without ascertaining the truth in most cases. He has been trained to handle any form of lies appeared to be concocted by the GFA, especially cases that involves his boss, only to be found belle-up and foaming at the mouth.
King George:
I knew him as a defacto guy. He would always stand for the truth and would tell it like it is. Strangely, he has gotten indoctrinated by his boss's ideologies."Say the truth and shame the Devil" George had become the leader of the 'Share and Loot Game'.
When he was confronted with whether or not he partook in the aftermath of the Brazil looting spree, he confirmed having participated in the thieving drill. Unfortunately, when Justice Dzamefe probed further into his countenances, he had blatantly failed or refused to disclose how much he looted.
As a result, he was banned, and or quarantined from GBS activities. Unfathomably, King George has grossly and contemptuously displayed his insubordination to the revered Justice of the state. He is still at post.
Come to hear of it, King George has filed a motion against the commission's orders. Meaning, he is above the law.Oh yes, he is the above all of it. Otherwise, once a person has been indicted and filed the accompanied motion, he is supposed to stay out completely until the 'motion to vacate' is cleared in his favour. But what do we see, he is still King George. He does expected to be handed another cash, Russia in proximo.
AS for Akwasi Nyantakyi, one cannot describe the type of person he is. He has a tight skin. IN this edition, am not going to mention any of his corrupt practices known by men of due diligence.
You and I know that, Nyantakyi of the GFA is the most talked about person within the length and breadth of Africa when corruption is the subject under discussion. He has faced too much of 'at3mdidie' more than any politician you can think of. Under his term of office, Ghana football had cliched a zero diadem. AFCON 2008 was staged here in our livingroom but he made nonsense of the "Stage and Win" banner. It was under his tutelage the baby 'coefficient' was born.He has acquired a bad reputation, call it 'credibility' over the years as the GFA boss. It still does not bother him at all. One would be tempted to ask what does he want in life? What does he seek to gain braving all these storms?
One would have abdicated/resigned his fate to the "Fama Nyame" syndrome and walk away. But lailai, KN is tough!
Where do we conveniently place the blame? I mean, why have the supporters withdrawn their support?
Its not about the coach, neither is it about the player scoring ratings. But its all about Nyantakyi and his stooges still hanging on to power when they have obviously become unpopular.aka. 'Incorrigibly Corrupt'.
Ghanaians are afraid that, the crooks would still milk them hard sensing Russia could be their last round of tour.
It is now clear to many of us that: since there is nobody to call these 'sikadicious' elements of society to order, we are always going to toil in vain.
To support the GBS, you are supporting Akwasi Nyantakyi and his 40 thieves.
