Ghana is now at highest standard a recognized nation in the world! Not only in football but in academia and many others..... However, we find it very difficult to adjust to the level of which we've grown on the globe. We have created families all over the world and have children that aren't abreast with our cultures simply because they're raised in different cultures, and anytime these children of ours comes home, we see them as foreigners simply because they don't act according to our cultures and behaviors. We have choices to make when it comes to our families from abroad..... either we accept them or alienate them. Accepting them means their behaviors must be accepted. Alienating them also means we reject them and not recognize them as ours. Children of African decent born and raised abroad don't know or don't understand our cultures. Can we start with Kevin Prince Boateng? The rest is how we deal with Kevin Prince Boateng.

Your general point is accurate but looking at the Black Stars specifically, Adomah, Kwesi Appiah, Schlupp and even Kwarasey did not behave like KPB. I think the problem with KPB is he was not making any effort to "meet halfway". I would agree with you that the GFA and the coaches also did not make the effort to "meet halfway" and that contributed to the problem. I would argue that KPB did not handle his situation well. If he would have held a press conference right after WC 2014 and given his side of he story I think he would have won over many people. What he did was just "walk away". This has allowed him to be labeled as the "disrespectful foreign born" type. This characterization may not be true but he allowed it to fester.

However, they never gave a detailed explanation of their side of the story. That is a sign of bad management.
