He was already grown and older than Mr. Mainoo's first daughter. That lady is in Worcester, Massachusetts today, today today and she's 53 years old. Then followed by a group match against Cameroun at Libya the same year.The most tantalizing performance so far to me was at Senegal '92.That was when he was at his peak but unfortunately, he couldn't feature in the finals and The Ivory Coast took the Cup.The most painful side of his career is not to have featured at the World Cup.Towards the 1996 World Cup, FIFA invited him and Pele of Brazil for the draw.According to Abedi himself, Pele hugged him like a Baby and it would have been a crowning moment of his career if Ghana had qualified for that World Cup in the US which Brazil won.No need crying over spilt milk His children are keeping the dream alive.
