In as much as I agree you somehow right if the Blackstars could find the means to sponsor themselves, it is equally fair to tell government to proactive in its operations. It is only when the economy is robust and business friendly that companies will be ready to sponsor. If dumsor, high tariffs, unrealistic taxes and other impediments are put in the way of businesses how do you expect them to have sponsorship? When they use the national purse for big billboards, judgement debts, radio adverts, freebies and what have you in order to stay in power, the pride of the country, the Blackstars shouldn't carry the yoke. Ghana has been to the world cup three times even when there was no oil and there was no complaints.

If you leave it to them, in no time Ghanaians will be crying about embezzlement of funds. From printing of jerseys, selling them abroad, getting endorsements, and selling other souvenirs such as: supporters key chains, T-shirts, headgears and wrist bands etc, these should be more than enough to sustain the team. When the Black Stars win it is for the entire nation; why abandon the team to find money to sustain itself? Terper, Stop the foolishness!
