It does not make any sense year after year, tournament after tournament, naming a Best Eleven without playing them against another continent's Best Eleven.

For now, it looks like the women have no qualms with it.

Sorry it's grammatically correct. The use of man here was generic; in reference to humans. It's in a neuter state. I've never heard of -woman i.e. to use woman generically. Let's not attach any 'feminist' sentiments.
